Analysis of the deterioration process of the dolomite with the interlayer in different directions during wetting

Taking the dolomite with anhydrite interlayer at bottom of Huangcaoshan Tunnel in Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu high-speed railway as research object, wetting deterioration and uniaxial compression tests were performed to study influence different orientations on hygroscopic characteristics rock analyze process deterioration. The cracking deformation directions analyzed respectively from time effect micro-expansion change ultrasonic longitudinal wave velocity, evolution samples moisture absorption conditions was aspects crack volume strain energy dissipation. results show that direction had a significant rock. sample vertical cracked obviously during wetting, resulting expansion along axial radial sample; However, horizontal almost only expansion, rate small. After wet deteriorated, propagation velocity decreased, decrease amplitude greater than interlayer. its compressive strength, initiation level, threshold value elastic density for failure while peak strain, conversion dissipation increased, plastic enhanced, changed significantly compared
